Agrex pull-type spreaders are ground driven. The gearbox is mounted to the axle and the forward speed determines the spreading width.

The Model SP Series ground driven spreaders are available in metal hopper only. Capacity is limited to 4.2 bushel. An optional deflector skirt is available for spreading salt or sand.

The XAR Series Pull-Type Spreaders (metal hoppers) and the XLR Series Pull-Type Spreaders (plastic hoppers) are ground driven also. These spreaders are equipped with a clevis hitch and 165/70 – R13 road wheels. Options include a deflector skirt for spreading salt and sand, a side conveyor, an articulated agitator for spreading powdery or damp fertilizer, and a mechanical remote control.
